First Trinity Lutheran Church
309 E St NW, Washington, DC 20001
At the door.
No one is turned away because they can't pay.
"We want bread, but we want roses too!"
We began in 1978 as the DC Area Feminist Chorus, were known as Bread and Roses Feminist Singers from 1983 to the fall of 2009, and became Fortissima in October 2009.
We have the same commitment to music and social justice regardless of the name.
We are open to all sopranos and altos, regardless of gender, and without audition.
Our Open House for new singers has passed, but you are welcome to sit in and listen (and perhaps dip your toe in singing!). We rehearse Wednesdays 7-9p.
Come sing with us at National City Christian Church and see if we're the right fit for you.
We are the chorus your mother warned you about.
